ShelfRocket was born out of my own need. After six years of selling on Takealot and a year and a half running it full time, I could not find a tool that gave me an honest read on my business at a price that made sense. So I started building one.

I started selling on Takealot during the pandemic. I had time on my hands and I wanted to build something of my own. I started small, learning the marketplace one listing at a time, figuring out what worked and what did not.
The more I sold, the more I saw the real potential of selling on Takealot. About a year and a half ago I went all in. I left my corporate job and committed to this full time.
The tools I needed did not exist at a price that made sense.
